The Multi-Season Weed Control Fabric by Rowan is perfect for use in tree bases, borders, and vegetable gardens measuring 1 x 1.5m. This porous material allows for the passage of nutrients, promoting plant growth and conserving soil moisture. It can be used in permanent planting areas, as well as for surrounding trellis and shrubs.

Directions for use

  • Remove all weeds and roots from the planting area.
  • Rake foil to leave a smooth surface.
  • Unroll fabric and overlap any joints by 6 or 7cm.
  • Using a knife cut "X" shapes to allow new vegetation to be planted.
  • Anchor edges and overlap with pegs.
  • To extend the lifespan, cover with mulch, bark and stone chippings.
